What is Kukua?

A not-for-profit organization that provides homes for children in Tanzania. A safe space where the children can grow in a healthy environment. We provide shelter, education, and healthcare, but it goes so far beyond that. We have round the clock care from local volunteers who are familiar with the children, we go shopping, eat at restaurants, we visit national parks and take trips into the cities. We have dance parties and celebrate birthdays. Saturday’s are movie night and you’re all invited. Some of our also children visit those who are less fortunate than them and provide help, yes, you read that right. They have an inclination to give and they’ve expressed that to us, because well, they get it. They are kind, strong, hilarious, kids and we together get to be a part of their lives and provide an environment that supports that growth. That is home, that is KuKua
